The Department of Ophthalmology at Mamta Medical College & Hospital (MMCH) is committed to excellence in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of eye diseases. The Ophthalmology department offers comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and surgical services for a wide range of ocular conditions.

  • Visual acuity testing & refraction

  • Slit-lamp examination

  • Tonometry (eye pressure measurement)

  • Fundus examination (retina checkup)

  • Cataract and glaucoma screening

  • Diabetic retinopathy screening

  • Contact lens consultation

  • Prescription of spectacles and medications

  • Minor procedures (chalazion removal, foreign body removal)
