Dear Students

I am humbled and feel privileged in assuming the Office of the Principal of Mamta Medical College & Hospital, Siwan. It’s a huge responsibility, but given the positive attitude and spirit of all the people around serving this institute, I feel comfortable and assured.

Any medical college is a dual-purpose institution imparting education and training in order to create doctors on one hand, and providing healthcare through the adjoining hospital to needy people, on the other. In fact, these two purposes are intertwined. Doctors and nurses in a medical college are required to meet both these two ends, with due care and compassion. While medical students are the most important persons in the college, patients in the hospital remain ‘the best teachers’ for them. Medical teachers and the milieu catalyze the process of learning by the students.

We have the best of doctors and medical teachers, nurses, paramedics and support staff, and, state-of-the-art equipments and infrastructure. We are confident that with support and collaboration of all concerned, we shall be able to make our beloved institute stand tall and prove always better than yesterday.
